Katherine Abbott, M.F.A., has won industry awards for training and public speaking and has been an educator for over 25 years. She developed the following Train the Trainer workshops: The Trainer’s Advantage based on her practical experience teaching in business and education; The Tech Trainer’s Advantage based on her experience as a software training and support professional; and The Global Trainer’s Advantage based on her first-hand experience delivering training in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Katherine holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Modern Dance and has been on the faculties of the University of Northern Colorado, Weber State University and the University of Phoenix.

In addition to being a master trainer and course developer, Katherine brings a wealth of experience as a personal coach. She is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute and is certified to administer several personal assessments, including the MBTI, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She has been coaching speakers and executives for the last 15 years.

Due to client requests, Katherine is expanding her services to the Web. She teaches how to design and deliver Webinars and offers a condensed version of some of her workshops in Webinar format.

She is a leader in the training and public speaking profession, as well as the business community. She is an active member and past board member of the National Speakers Association (NSA/NC), the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Toastmasters International. Katherine is a popular speaker at training conferences.
